WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE NIGHT OF YOUR PRIVATE INVESTIGATION
You are about to investigate one of the most haunted locations in Ohio. We want you to have a great time and ask you to read the following:
Arrival time at the Twin City Opera House is 9:30PM on the evening of your investigation.
You will need to pay the remaining balance of $250, the additional cost of $40 per person if you have over ten people, and/or any extra hours ($75 per hour, up to two additional hours) in CASH upon your arrival. The final balance MUST be paid by cash (No-Exceptions), there is NO credit card machine at the Opera House.
Each member will be required to sign a release and hold harmless indemnity form.
You may park at any of the meters around the Opera House, as they quit checking them after 5:00pm on Friday and do not check them at all on Saturday. Additional parking is permitted after 5:00pm at the rear of the Opera House in the First National Bank Parking lot.
The Opera hous has Electricity, A/C, Heat. WIFI, and Functional Bathrooms, so weather is not an issue for your investigation.
A Host will be present throughout the night if you should have any questions or problems. In no way will the Host(s) interfere with your investigation. They will stay put in the lobby area of the Opera House while your investigation is going on, unless you request their assistance.
Groups MUST PROVIDE their own paranormal equipment. As mentioned the building is heated and air conditioned, however you may want to wear a coat in the cooler months as it does get chilly in this big building.
When this preliminary business is done your group will be given a tour and the history of the Opera House. If you have sensitives or mediums who want to “go in blind” we recommend that they stay in the lobby during this portion of the evening. The time of the history and tour will depend on how many questions your group has and how much information you want to know about the Opera House and its Haunting’s. We are more than willing to point out “hot-spots” if you so desire.
After the tour is completed you will be able to set up your equipment and get prepared for your investigation. When you are ready to start the investigation you will need to let one of the Hosts know and they will turn off the lights inside the Opera House.
The Spirits of the Opera House respond very well to the twisty type Mag-Lite Flashlights (we recommend 3), EMF Detectors, Ghost Meters, Spirit Boxes, Trip Wires, Motion Detectors, and EVP Recorders. Many teams get very good responses while doing an Estes Session. So, come prepared.
Your investigation concludes at 03:00am unless other prior arrangements have been made for additional hours.
If you are not done with your investigation on time, you will be charged an additional hour of investigation time.
You are permitted to bring non-alcoholic drinks into the lobby area along with any food you may need. We request that you help keep the Opera House clean by cleaning up any messes you or your team makes.
ANYONE ENTERING THE OPERA HOUSE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OR ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUGS WILL BE REQUIRED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES. THEY WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY REIMBURSEMENTS OR REFUNDS FOR ANY MONEY PAID. THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BE ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUG FREE WHEN ENTERING THE TWIN CITY OPERA HOUSE. THIS RULE WILL STRONGLY BE ENFORCED!!!
