Experience a different side of the theater after dark. The Opera House draws curious visitors and paranormal investigators interested in its history and reports of unexplained footsteps, whispers, temperature changes, and apparitions. It has also appeared on Portals to Hell.

These experiences offer an opportunity to explore the building and investigate its stories. Paranormal activity is unpredictable, and individual experiences will vary.

Tours and investigations

• Private investigations: Available by advance reservation throughout the year on Friday or Saturday nights, typically from approximately 9:30 p.m. to 3 a.m.
• Public ghost hunts: Offered on select Friday or Saturday nights, typically from approximately 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guided events welcome newcomers as well as experienced investigators.
